Responding to emerging health care needs.

According to the U.S. Surgeon General, between 2018 and 2019, the number of youth (age 12-17) using e-cigarettes increased by 1.9 million.¹ There was a lack of awareness around the vaping epidemic, specifically among 45- to 60-year-old parents of teenagers. Engagement Solutions created a short video to address the dangers of vaping, told from a teen’s perspective. A list of resources is included, with a call-to-action to contact the company’s Employee Assistance Program.

With the emergence of COVID-19, and nearly 95% of Americans living under stay-at-home orders,² many health care providers are cancelling non-urgent appointments. Our team has quickly created communications to help members understand their options to receive care virtually, as well as educating about the symptoms of COVID-19 and what is covered by their health plan.
